Refund/Returns Policy

 

At Salty Dog Adventure Gear, we take pride in the quality and durability of our products. Every item we sell is backed by Australian Consumer Law, which guarantees your rights as a customer. If a product you purchase has a major defect, you are entitled to a full refund or replacement. If the issue is minor, we will offer a repair, replacement, or refund at our discretion.

 

If you experience any problems with a product from Salty Dog Adventure Gear, you are welcome to return it to us. Once we assess the item, we will determine whether you qualify for a full refund, replacement, or repair, depending on the nature of the issue.

 

To process a return, please provide proof of purchase (such as a receipt, order confirmation, or bank statement). Refunds will be issued using the same payment method as the original transaction.

 

Beyond your legal rights under Australian Consumer Law, we also offer a Change of Mind Returns policy to ensure your complete satisfaction. Please read the details below to understand how this policy applies to your purchase.

 

Change of Mind Returns

 

If you decide that a product isn’t right for you, we’re happy to offer a refund under the following conditions:

- The item is returned within 28 days of purchase. Returns made after this period may not be eligible for a refund or exchange.

- A valid proof of purchase is provided.

- The item is unused and in its original condition, including:

- All original packaging, accessories, manuals, and tags are intact.

- The product has not been worn, opened, or used in any way.

We will NOT accept the return of items from the following categories under the change of mind returns policy under any circumstances. 

- Clearance items

- Gift Cards

- Online Only or Special Customer Order

 

Salty Dog Adventure Gear reserves the right to decline a refund if the returned item does not meet these conditions. All Change of Mind refunds are issued at our discretion.
